Heading north

Marina Polesana, Pula - Sveti Ivan

under engine only

It was very relaxing sailing. At half past two in the morning, I started the engine and set off north.

By eight o’clock in the morning, I was near Sveti Ivan Island, which is located about 3 Nm south of the town of Rovinj.

Before I anchored in the bay, I had to wait for a fisherman who was just pulling up his nets.

Then it was time to rest and watch the weather forecast. To the south of me, weather was supposed to get worse and get pretty windy.

In the evening about five o'clock, I got feeling something wrong with the anchor...

...eventually, I pulled it up and set off more to north.
