Porto di Capraia - Anse de Porticciolo, Corsica
22 Nm
(total 53.6 Nm)
wind all day 3 Bf
mainsail + jib (3 Nm)
sea 3 Ds
Around ten, still in the bay, I raised the main. Then, I raised the anchor, and before half past ten, I set off.
I sailed with the sails for only two hours because around half past one, I was sailing directly against wind. So sails down, and the rest of the journey was by engine.
During that afternoon bouncing around, I didn’t forget about the fishes in the sea and fed them a bit.
Around half past four, I was anchored in Anse de Porticciolo in Corsica.
The windlass started to malfunction. I lowered the anchor manually for the first time. I didn’t yet know this would later become a tradition.
