I woke up around seven o'clock. A light breakfast of leftover candy bars, which I hadn't touched throughout the whole two weeks trip. When I fed the fish for the first time at the beginning due to seasickness, my craving for sweets left me. I didn't even touch the bananas.
Before eight o'clock, I had pulled up the anchor. This time I broke a sweat pulling up 40 meters of chain.
At nine o'clock, I spotted a ship from earlier times on my course. It was none other than the Czech boat La Grace. A nice ending to my journey :-)
In the strait between Italy and Elba, I had to wait for four ferries crossing my course, or rather, I didn't want to get mixed up there.
My encounter with the local fauna was spiced up by a wasp and its sting.
In front of San Vincenzo, rain clouds accompanied by the wind pushed up the coast.
After noon, I refuelled at the petrol station and also topped up a canister with gasoline for the dinghy.
At half past two, I was docked at berth number 20, which belongs to Frivola.
AND THAT'S IT.
It's mixed feelings. Of course, one is looking forward to going home, but at the same time, one could easily return to the sea again :-)
