The first part of the voyage was spread over three days, during which we sailed to Rome. In Fiumicino, we picked up a German teacher couple.
We then continued to the Tuscan Islands. Our northernmost landing was on the island of Giglio.
After that, we slowly headed back south to Salerno.
What did we experience...?
We made a "slight" adjustment to our sailing itinerary. Instead of Corsica, we "only" reached the Tuscan Islands :-)
We had one nonstop sail for 23 hours.
On the way back, our engine "died."
Dolphins accompanied us, we caught three fish, and a jellyfish stung us.
We listened to a concert by a seagull colony on Giannutri.
We explored caves of various shapes and sizes in the rocks.
As part of Czech-German friendship, we revealed some secrets of the German language and vice versa.
The strongest wind we had was 25 knots, and the waves were 4m (claimed by the crew, the skipper was more modest and said max 3 m).
