We set sail from Porto di Ponza in the dark at two in the morning. The wind is weak, and on top of that, aft, so we motor for twelve hours. The sea is like a mirror.

Nothing kicks you in the morning like a thick, but really thick, and also delicious garlic soup :-)

Around two o'clock we are at the island of Capri. First, we stopped in Cala del Rio to see another hole in the rock :-)

And then we head to the leeward side of the northern part of the island in Marina Grande.

Along the way, we encounter a lively tourist activity. Sometimes up to five boats are heading towards us, and this is just the beginning of the season.

At Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto) it is really crowded, and in Marina Grande, where we drop anchor, it's not much better.

The crew sets off on dinghies to the shore to explore the beauties of the island of Capri. The skipper and boatswain stay on the boat. There is a lot of activity around us, and what was otherwise a relatively calm sea is constantly disturbed by passing boats.

In the evening, we move anchorage, so we are further away from the catamaran, which is anchored on two moorings, and doesn't spin in the wind like we do.

For the first time, we have a sweet dinner. A German couple made pancakes and served them with gorgonzola, in addition to something sweet. Yummy :-)
