We left Ventotene before noon. We had a nine-hour motor sail ahead of us.

After sunset, the wind picked up, and near Anzio, it was blowing at 25 knots.

We avoided the shallow water at the entrance and were moored in a pleasant city marina within half an hour, well-protected from the wind by nearby buildings and waves by a breakwater.

Dinner and then a short walk around town.
