At ten, we raised the anchor and set sail. An hour later, we passed Capo Linaro and changed course to west-northwest, directly to our next destination, the island of Giannutri. Just like yesterday, we sailed with full sails on a beam wind.
Around six, we took down the sails and motored the last five miles.
By seven, we were exploring the eastern bay of the southernmost of the Tuscany Islands.
We chose the northern part and, in the company of a seagull colony, anchored around the corner of Cala Spalmatoi, this time with two anchors.
The bay is well-protected. We are in the lee, and the forecast says the wind will shift early in the morning, but it won't be strong. We put the stern anchor to avoid turning.
