We didn't get much sleep last night, so we postpone the twenty-four hour crossing to Ponza Island and opt for a rest day.

This time the women's part of the crew goes to the marina manager in Giglio with a plea for water. Success! At eleven o'clock we can take a turn for 20 Euros to pump water into the empty 150l tank.

By 11:30 we are anchored in the nearby bay of Cala Cannelle, exposing our bodies to the sun, either on the beach or on the boat. In short words, rest and relaxation.

Before five o'clock we weigh anchor and head back south to our favourite seagull bay at Giannutri.

At 6:30, we're at anchor. But the sea level is dropping, so we'd better anchor at 9:30.

Today we even have neighbours - an elegant cutter has docked next to us after dark.

We're going to the bed soon. We've got a full day's cruise tomorrow.
