We left Salerno at five in the morning. We estimated five hours for the journey to Faraglioni di Caprio. These are rocks protruding from the water near the island of Capri, with an opening through which tourists are taken on motorboats.
We decided to skip the lunch stop on the island of Ischia and head straight to the Pontine Islands.
Around seven in the evening, we slowed down near the island of Ventotene and tried to catch fish.
After forty minutes, we gave up and sailed to Porto Nuovo on the island of Ventotene.
In the dark, we went for a short walk and then had an excellent dinner in the original old marina, Porto Romano.
